Corporations/Businesses

Good Works partners with local businesses to provide opportunities for corporate workdays at homes in Coatesville, West Chester, and Phoenixville.

Employees of businesses and corporations are able to serve on a weekday for the purpose of team-building and to benefit families living in substandard housing. Participants enjoy a day away from the office while helping a neighbor in need. All skill levels are welcome. Typical projects on workdays include drywall, plaster patching, window replacements, flooring, siding, and painting.

In 2022, 40 corporate workdays were held, allowing 369 participants to give 2503 volunteer hours.

As an organization, Citadel strongly believes in what it can to help in our community. More importantly, as people who live and work in Chester County, it is even more important to us as individuals to help and take care of our neighbors in need. I am proud of our support of Good Works, Inc. and our quarterly “Good Works workdays.” It provides an outlet for Citadel and its employees to work together to help build a stronger community.
