Good Works Ambassador Ministry
As Christians, an Ambassador is someone who is sent on behalf of Jesus Christ, to represent the Kingdom of God to a broken world. Through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, Ambassadors are empowered to bear witness to Jesus. With the love of Jesus filling our presence and conversation, we share God’s Good News, the gospel of Jesus, because it is only by faith in Jesus that men and women are transformed and saved.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me - put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:8-9
Ambassador Qualifications
1. Sign Good Works Faith Statement as a personal testimony of faith,
2. Willingness to be used by the Lord to minister to people’s spiritual and relational needs,
3. Mature faith and eagerness to evangelize and disciple a new believer,
4. Desire to grow spiritually by living out your faith,
5. Ability and willingness to drive to worksites in distressed neighborhoods,
6. Good communication skills – willingness to converse with strangers,
7. Knowledge of the Bible and relevant scriptures for ministry to the poor,
8. Ability to serve others with no expectations.
9. Commit to one full day per month on a Saturday workday, Corporate Workday, Summer Work Camp or Beyond the Workday engagement,
10. Attend two Ambassador Workshops per year and special training sessions as necessary.
